GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 568922
View stream for Accessibles that implement Atk.StreamableContent
Last modified: 2021-05-17 15:43:17 UTC
Currently with the Interface Viewer plugin, the StreamableContent section doesn't allow you to view the contents of a stream. The attached patch adds a TextView underneath the existing TreeView which shows the contents of the stream when an item in the TreeView is selected. If the stream is not text/plain or text/html, the data will be displayed as a hex dump for easy debugging.
Created attachment 127129 [details] [review] Proposed patch Here's the patch. Apologies for the massive glade change. For some reason, it decided to throw a tantrum and spit up all over my change. If you can tell me what glade version made this file, I'll happily redo it so the diff is actually useful.
I have looked at and tested Brad's patch and it looks good to me. I think this is a good feature to have. CCing Eitan to make sure he is okay with this enhancement.
This looks great. The feature freeze was on the 20th. Would this be a new feature? Also we are in string announcement period, so if the answer above is "no", we still need to send out an announcement after the commit. We also could branch for GNOME 2.26, but it might be a bit early for that. I don't know! Brian, do what you think is right.
Brad, We are unfrozen, go ahead and commit this please.
Dang, we already migrated to GtkBuilder. Would someone be generous enough to update this patch?
This may not be very important anymore, as we decided to deprecate the AtkStreamableContent interface for at-spi-dbus at the Dublin A11y Hackfest.
