GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 567958
Shutdown and Logout dialogs not themed
Last modified: 2009-02-26 20:42:52 UTC
Updated my unstable gnome jhbuild and found the "Shutdown" and "Logout" dialogs no longer use the right GTK and icon themes. (Not sure if this belongs to session, panel or something else nowadays)
Created attachment 126568 [details] Screenshot Here's a screenshot. GTK/icon theme settings work great in the rest of the session.
This dialog is from gnome-session. Not quite sure how it could have a different theme, though, since, well, it's some X setting. Is it the only dialog that appears like this?
(In reply to comment #2) > Is it the only dialog that appears like this? > Yes. For all other dialogs/windows both GTK theme and icon theme work correctly.
the issue is there since the 2.25.5 update

the new present api changes create this issue, it's due to "init_xsync()" in "gs-idle-monitor.c" "select for sync events "
Created attachment 129599 [details] [review] xsync is great
* gnome-session/gs-idle-monitor.c: Ask for AlertNotify in a way that XSync understands. (#567958)
