Description Jonny Lamb 2009-01-10 23:49:02 UTC
If you disable all accounts in the accounts editor (or delete all accounts) and then select Available from the main window, it simply stays on Offline without any reason for not doing anything.

Either a message box should pop and inform the user there are no accounts active, or the presence selector should be disabled when there are no enabled accounts.

I got confused but that too.
Comment 2 Jonny Lamb 2009-10-14 12:10:44 UTC
Nowadays, you can't change presence if you're offline, have no enabled accounts, or no accounts at all.

I guess this is still a bug though because it would be nice if the insensivity of the widget was explained.

I agree, the contact list should contain a message explaining why you can't go online.
Comment 4 Guillaume Desmottes 2012-03-29 15:14:22 UTC
This has been done in 3.4.
