Description spam 2008-12-20 04:08:31 UTC
Please describe the problem:
For checkboxes created in OpenOffice 3.0, and I believe Scribus as well, the exported PDF forms do not work. The checkboxes are blank and no checks appear when clicked.

These same PDFs work in acroread and even in GV.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the attached PDF (bugreport.pdf)
2. Click on one of the check marks
3. Scratch your head because no tick appeared

Actual results:
Nothing

Expected results:
A check should appear in the box

Does this happen every time?
Yes

Other information:
Example files for this bug can be found at the follwing website:

bugreport.odt - OpenOffice.org Writer doc that was used to generate the PDF
bugreport.pdf - Editable form that does not work in Evince but does in acroread
bugreport-filled.pdf - Form filled using iTextSharp that works in both (flattened)

It's a poppler issue. I've just forwarded it to the freedesktop bugzilla:

Thanks for reporting.
