Description of problem: 

Installed 2.6.3 .. But  in Gnome when I
maximize the Gimp, Toolbars are visible and are attached to the GIMP Windows
but when i do the same in KDE it get hidden in background.. When I click on
show toolbar .. one will appear as soon as I click to show the other one , the
former disappear [ or goes to background] //

Please note I only face these problems with KDE.. I didn't notice the
same problem in Gnome.. So please fix this .

Hi! This is a problem with the KDE window manager, you should file a bug report against KDE. Closing as NOTGNOME.
