We are discussing in the mailing list which version of gmime should tracker require.

The patch is ok, but we decided to keep tracker linking with gmime-2.0.

We will try to keep this patch up to date for distributors.

Looks like we duplicated our efforts, Bastien :(

I was not aware of this bug and its attached patch. Anyway, the patch I just made is a bit more recent and includes the changes for the *-imap-db.c file too.

Up to Carlos to decide which one he picks and/or how he merges the two together.

Well gmime < 2.4 doesn't build, see Bug 556704. So it is not possible for anyone to build unless you apply the patch.

gmime is no longer a dependency of tracker.
