GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 564412
Editing location doesn't automatically fill in location name
Last modified: 2020-11-06 20:23:16 UTC
Please describe the problem: If I type in a location name - for instance, "My House" - then that name won't be preserved when I go back to the edit dialog. If the name was auto-filled, then it will be. Steps to reproduce: 1. Click on the date/time applet, expand the 'Location' section and click "Edit" 2. Add a location, but make sure you do this without the autocompletion. klick "OK" 3. Stay in the "Add"-dialog. Select the location you've added and klick "Edit" Actual results: The "location name" field will be empty Expected results: It should preserve the content of the "location name" field like it does when you have used the auto completion to add a location Does this happen every time? Yes Other information: Regarding launchpad bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-panel/+bug/304082
