[qtdemux] detect sprite+tween video
Last modified: 2018-11-03 14:38:56 UTC
xine and mplayer think it's an MJPEG video stream. Most likely a qtdemux problem.
Created attachment 124394 [details] sprite-and-tween-quicktime.mov Test file downloaded a loong time ago from apple.com I think I posted about this at: http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.video.xine.devel/15068/
FWIW, Get Info on OSX says: Dimensions: 670x565 Codecs: Sprite, Tween, MPEG Layer 3, Photo - JPEG, Text
vlc doesn't produce any video mplayer produces a static image What is the expected result ?
IIRC, sprite would be an overlay text (similar to a subtitle) and tween would be a mostly static image. I doubt it works in anything but QuickTime. At least playing back the (static) video would be great. Currently it shows that the stream is 70 seconds long, but doesn't play back anything. Displaying an error that the video isn't supported would probably be fine as well.
