Description Julian Sikorski 2008-12-09 15:27:01 UTC
Please describe the problem:
I have both Arial and Arial Narrow fonts installed here, and gtk font selector chooses do display all of these as styles of Arial family. The problem is that the displayed styles are broken (with a degree depending on locale), with repeating entries and sometimes inability to select narrow style.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Install Arial and Arial Narrow fonts
2. Start gedit
3. Go to font selection dialog

Actual results:
See attached screenshots

Expected results:
Styles are displayed properly regardless of locale, each installed style can be selected

Does this happen every time?
yes
