Description Mario Limonciello 2008-12-02 19:47:56 UTC
Please describe the problem:
In the 2.24.0 release of gnome-power-manager, XF86Battery is not grabbed. Earlier releases would grab this key.

This has been fixed in trunk, but this should be backported to 2.24.0

Steps to reproduce:
1. Press XF86Battery

Actual results:
The keycode is emitted but not grabbed

Expected results:
It should be grabbed by gnome-power-manager and the battery status popup should come up

Does this happen every time?
Yes

Mario, could you backport the newer #ifdef fix please, and then commit this. Thanks.

bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all old bug reports in Bugzilla which have not seen updates for many years.

If you can still reproduce this issue in a currently supported version of GNOME (currently that would be 3.38), then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-power-manager/-/issues/

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
