"When click on gnome volume control applet on gnome-panel the keyboard key`s UP and DOWN not work to control the volume. On 2.22 the keyboard works fine."

The volume applet lives in gnome-applets (and the Ubuntu bug is correctly categorised).

The keys work in the 2.25 releases, although currently the up and down buttons work in reverse (the bar is horizontal).
