For usability reasons I propose that we attach a distribution-logo icon to the disk icon for the system partition.

Marking as a duplicate. The other bug is a bit newer, but there's a patch on there.

I'd like to get some comments on why this is required. I see from the Launchpad bug that the idea is to be able to have an icon schema which would identify Windows and Mac partitions as well. Is that the central reasoning here?
