Please describe the problem:
When copying a data DVD in this case my copy of Vista for use with virtualbox-ose. Using brasero's copy function the status i.e. progress bar and notification icon will go blank when 2048MB has been copied to hard disk. The process continues and the copying is sucessful.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Copy a DVD or rip a DVDto an ISO image
2. Notice that after 2048MB the progress bar and notification icon will go blank

This bug is taken upstream from the Ubuntu launchpad (Bug #186514)
