Description Javier Cabezas 2008-11-20 13:56:39 UTC
It would be excellent if gnome-subtitles were able to read .srt files which are stored as tracks in matroska files.

Ability to save them too (edit in-place) would be even better, but simply loading them would be a good start.

Hi, and thanks for the bug report.

This bug, actually, has to do with the SubLib library, used by Gnome Subtitles.

Although the maintainers for sublib and GS are the same, it's preferable to report this bug in the SubLib tracker (https://sourceforge.net/tracker2/?func=add&group_id=138366&atid=740664). Would you mind doing so?

Thanks.

SubLib has been merged with Gnome Subtitles, so this bug now makes sense in this bugzilla. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Comment 4 Pedro Castro 2010-11-07 12:54:47 UTC
This is loosely related to bug #591541, which comprehends displaying matroska image/vobsub subtitles in the video preview area.
