GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 561532
wrong timestamp on log when joing a channel
Last modified: 2019-02-23 02:48:38 UTC
the bug has described on https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/285429 "When i join a channel after restarting my computer Xchat shows the log from the last time i was on the channel. But the timestamp is the same as when i'm joining the channel in stead of the time when the text was written. xchat-gnome : 1:0.24.0-0ubuntu1"
Err... isn't that a server feature of some irc proxy, not an x-g feature?
reproducible. time stamp of converstaion loaded via last log are ignored, instead timestamp is the same as when user joins the channel.
xchat-gnome is not under active development anymore. Its codebase has been archived: https://gitlab.gnome.org/Archive/xchat-gnome/commits/master Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather reactivate the project to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is deprecated) if anyone takes the responsibility for active development again. You may want to switch to Hexchat (or another IRC client that suits you).
