Description Daniel Black 2008-11-14 23:22:29 UTC
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/gnutls-devel/2008-11/msg00062.html - there is a plan to remove libtasn1-config from libtasn1 libraries and use pkg-config instead.

The prerelease of libtasn1-1.7 also removed the libtasn1.m4 file that gnome-keychain uses to search for the libtasn1-config to extract libs/cflags/version.

gnome-keyring-2.22.3-libtasn1-configure.in.patch

included elements from upstream's m4 patch. uses libtasn1-config if it exists and falls back to pkg-config.

gnome-keyring-2.22.3-simple-libtasn1-configure.in.patch

as per http://blog.gmane.org/gmane.comp.encryption.gpg.gnutls.devel/day=20081117 pkg-config has been supported since libtasn1-0.2.14 and since gnome-keyring requires >=0.3.4 the much simpler patch as attached is all that's needed.
