Description matmoser 2008-11-13 17:29:44 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When I change an MP3 tag of a file with a special char (eg. the Artist tag is Spock's Beard) and selected that Banshee should rename the filename as well then the special char is being left out (eg. the filename and foldername is Spocks Beard but should be Spock's Beard, because the ID3 Artist also is Spock's Beard)

Steps to reproduce:
1. In Preferences activate syncing of files with ID3 tags
2. Change some tag of a file that has a special char (eg ' ) in a field name which also exists in the filename (Artist, Title mostly)
3. Save

Actual results:
Files and Folders are spelled wrong

Expected results:
Rename them correctly please! (As long as the filesystem supports the chars...)

Does this happen every time?
Yep.
