Description Tim Cole 2008-11-12 18:11:42 UTC
Very frequently, naïve users try to drag an .iso onto a blank CD with the intent of burning a CD of that image, rather than uselessly burning a CD containing a file with the image in (which is what actually happens).

If a user tries to drag a disc image to a blank CD, they should at least be prompted with a message box, including a brief explanation, to indicate their intent. The "burn CD image" option needs to be prominent and the obvious default.

This enhancement might also be a convenience for more sophisticated users as it is marginally easier than messing with the context menu and going via CD/DVD creator.

There's no way we can do that in nautilus-cd-burner itself, we'd need special-casing in nautilus itself, which isn't a bad idea.
