Description Jean-François Fortin Tam 2008-11-01 17:22:54 UTC
The "save as" button is useless in the toolbar. There should only be a "save" button, because
- you typically don't save various versions of your video editing project, and even if you did, this can be accessed in the menus
- "save", when clicked for the first time, does the same as "save as". It therefore plays the role of both buttons, to a certain extent.

I suggest removing the "Save as" button from the toolbar. Besides, other gnome apps such as GEdit do the same.

Bug #558019 has a patch that solves this, among others.

Note that this removes the toolbar button only, not the menu item (this is on purpose, for the weird minority folks who really want to "save as").

done.
