GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 556247
preset unit test should work with non-writable home directory
Last modified: 2009-02-03 14:22:55 UTC
Running suite(s): GstPreset 40%: Checks: 5, Failures: 3, Errors: 0 gst/gstpreset.c:188:F:preset:test_add:0: Assertion 'res' failed gst/gstpreset.c:208:F:preset:test_del:0: Assertion 'res' failed gst/gstpreset.c:231:F:preset:test_two_instances:0: Assertion 'res' failed FAIL: gst/gstpreset
Could you check if this still happens with 0.10.21? This might be related to your home directory not being writable or something like this.
I think we should make the test not fail in this case, either by just skipping the checks which require a writable home directory, or by setting some environment variable and writing to a temp directory.
Actually, this has been fixed already, see also bug #546010. http://cgit.freedesktop.org/gstreamer/gstreamer/commit/?id=864a45ee13e462574d8c15e09711a0aec7a296f8
