Please describe the problem:
Evolution does not empty trash on exit, even though the preferences settings are enabled.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Preferences menu
2. General
3. Set the checkbox for "Empty trash folders on exit"
4. Select the dropdown to "Every time"


Actual results:
The trash was not emptied on exit.

Expected results:
The trash should be emptied on exit.

Does this happen every time?
Yes

I have a similar problem.I have a  little bit more than 100 messages that I can't cancel from the trash box. No chance whatever I try to do...
But new messages that I add get removed with no problem. Only these are "stucked"...

I'm running evolution2.24.1 on Ubuntu Intrepid.

Nothing much to say about the patch itself.

Maybe only one thing, it would be nice to have such 'ignore_no_such_table_exception' function globally accessible, because similar thing is used on couple of other places. Just a feature request, I do not know where to put such function and probably also other function for only text compare would be required.

In other words, it doesn't worth it at the moment, probably.
