Description JP Rosevear 2008-10-07 19:42:38 UTC
As per https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=194723 , beagle should use ConsoleKit to ensure the user is the active session before indexing agressively.
Comment 1 Debajyoti Bera 2008-10-08 17:20:40 UTC
Since CPU load is also a factor in determining indexing speed, this should not be a lot of problem if any of the user is actually using the processor. But I agree that another check would be helpful.
Comment 2 André Klapper 2018-07-03 09:49:17 UTC
Beagle is not under active development anymore and had its last code changes in early 2011. Its codebase has been archived (see bug 796735):

"tracker" is an available alternative.

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect
reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project
to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is deprecated) if anyone takes the
responsibility for active development again.
