Internal error is happen if we choose only XML in Output tab of doxywizard.
The error message is:
  config.l<1304>: Internal error: Requested unknown option GENERATE_INDEXLOG!
  *** Doxygen has finished

If we choose both XML and HTML, the internal error isn't happen.
It seems doxygen 1.5.6 doesn't have this problem.

I can confirm this behaviour on a freshly downloaded 1.5.7 on Windows. As soon as I enabled HTML output, the error no longer happened.

Confirmed. 

I'll probably make a 1.5.7.1 release for this as it is a serious regression (even though there is a simple workaround). 

I'll just wait a couple of days to see if more of such issues surface.

This bug was previously marked ASSIGNED, which means it should be fixed in
doxygen version 1.5.7.1. Please verify if this is indeed the case and reopen the
bug if you think it is not fixed (include any additional information that you
think can be relevant).
