GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 554131
Layout problem: Background image covers foreground text
Last modified: 2008-09-28 08:40:43 UTC
Originally opened on Launchpad: https://launchpad.net/bugs/273572 ---------- Download the PDF available at: http://www.sbc.se/EPiBrowser/Dokument%20&%20Blanketter/SBC%20ek%20f%C3%B6r/SBC%20Direkt%20h%C3%A4mta/SBC_Direkt_0608.pdf Go to page five. There is a picture of a man. This is supposed to be in the background, with text flowing around the contour of the man. Instead, the image covers the text and makes it unreadable. ---------- Confirmed with evince 2.24/GNOME 2.24. I can also confirm that xpdf does not have the issue (xpdf displays it correctly) and another reporter stated that Okular also does not have the issue.
It's a known poppler issue. See bug https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7856 Thanks for reporting.
