GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 552571
Nautilus crash while viewing video thumbnails
Last modified: 2009-01-03 13:24:35 UTC
Steps to reproduce: 1. View video files in icon view, with thumbnails enabled. 2. Wait a couple of seconds. Stack trace: Continuing. [New Thread 0xb7d7db90 (LWP 15970)] [New Thread 0xb5ce1b90 (LWP 15971)] Program received signal SIGABRT, Aborted. 0x00110416 in __kernel_vsyscall () (gdb) thread apply all bt
+ Trace 206867
Other information: There is one avi file in this particular folder that has no thumbnail, and it never gets one. This doesn't happen in list view. Bug-Buddy is not activated by this crash. I deleted the ~/.thumbnails folder, but that didn't fix it.
-> totem Is this still an issue with newer versions of GNOME? Could it be that your video file is broken?
I can't reproduce it with the version I now have, it works now. So I guess this is fixed.
Closing then. Thanks.
