Description Sebastien Bacher 2008-09-16 10:01:53 UTC
the bug has been opened on https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/268834

"Was trying to put a file path into a web form in Firefox... (also tried the Epiphany browser... same result)

Open web browser to a page with a text field.
Find a file you want the path for in Nautilus,
-- in Icon View, drag file into empty text field, and the path gets dropped (as expected; good)
-- do the same thing from List view, however, and the icon bounces back without leaving the link in place.

This unusual behavior does not occur in all apps, for example KNotes works fine, as does OpenOffice. "
