Description Dustin Breese 2008-09-12 16:20:31 UTC
Please see: https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-users/2008-September/159315.html

(I searched for existing recommendations, but didn't find any, so I hope this is not a dup)

It would be nice if the "Add Rule" button was next to each table on the Policy Tab. Myself and other users have been confused about how to add a new rule and the fact that you must first select a table before the Add Rule button becomes enabled.

ALSO: For visually impaired, it is difficult to use because selecting the table only responds to a MOUSE CLICKED event and not a TAB SELECTED event. I consider this piece to be a bug and not an enhancement.

Thanks!

Proposed patch to policyview.c

I just added a signal to catch a "focus" event and treat it just like a button click event.

firestarter development has been stalled and it has been unmaintained for a few years now. I contacted Tomas Junnonen (majix@iki.fi) because he is listed as Developer on project page but didn't get any response. I found firestarter on fedora wiki [1] under deprecated packages so i am closing all the bugs as WONTFIX. Please feel free to reopen the bugs in future if anyone takes the responsibility for active development.
