Description David Paleino 2008-09-10 21:52:11 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Hello,
a Debian user [1] reported a bug which seems suitable for an upstream action :).
The concept is easy: when one crops an image (Image > Resize or Alt + S), and clicks "Save" in that dialog, she should be given the ability to specify a new filename.

Does this happen every time?

Other information:
The user reported this against 2.10.8 (I haven't tried this version) -- and I confirmed it also in 2.11.0 svn2319 (which I packaged some time ago for Debian/experimental).

I'm working (oh well, trying to) on a patch, I'll post it here whenever I get something. However, please tell me if this has already been fixed in newer SVN revisions.

Kindly,
David (the Debian maintainer)

The behaviour is unchanged in svn trunk.

ext branch, the current development branch, has a different cropping/editing UI, which should resolve this issue.
