Description Vishal 2008-08-25 10:38:51 UTC
Please describe the problem:
In preferences, I checked the option for displaying notifications when contacts come online. However it doesn't seem to work. I don't get any notifications.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Edit > Preferences > Notification
2. Under visual, check Display Notifications
3.

Actual results:
I don't get notifications

Expected results:
I should get visual notifications

Does this happen every time?
Everytime

Right, we don't have libnotify support. That comes from gossip... I'll remove that from the setting dialog.

Trivial patch but it requires UI change and GNOME is in freeze.
