This bug report is for a problem that was reported by Yu Kuan on gtk-devel-list in May 2008, and has already been fixed in GLib trunk. See http://mail.gnome.org/archives/gtk-devel-list/2008-May/msg00066.html . I open this bug just to have a permanent reference for the problem, and a place to store the test programs.
