Description Baptiste Mille-Mathias 2008-08-19 04:42:06 UTC
I provide a new icon for default_icon.png, based on Tango guidelines, much nicer IMHO.

I have a question though, is there any reason to have a default_icon.png sized at 48x48, where libwnck uses a 16x16? The icon on metacity windows seems to be blurry that way; mine is 16x16. Is 48x48 is used for other things than the window icon?

Unfortunately I discovered this bug a bit late for 2.24, so I think we can only push it in trunk (except if a freeze break is asked).

crevette: We stopped using default_icon.png about a week ago, in trunk at least, on the grounds that the theme should provide the default icon-- see bug 524343. But discussion continues there about what icon should be used, or whether a new icon should be added. I like your icon, so I hope it can be added in the icon themes.

So at least, can we try to get this for 2.24 ?
thanks

Sure, if you can get the release team to agree.
