GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 547597
Unable to browse smb shares
Last modified: 2008-09-22 18:00:33 UTC
After migrating to 2.24 (Ubuntu Intrepid), I can't browse smb shares anymore. SSH is fine. I see that the mount point has been created in ~/.gvfs but I can't access it from nautilus (places).
Created attachment 116498 [details] first error Error when I click on a bookmarked smb share. Even showing this message, the mount point can be seen in ~/.gvfs
Created attachment 116499 [details] second error After first error dialog, the mount appears at 'places', but when I click to access it, I see this (another) error dialog.
Certainly a GVFS problem.
ah yeah I confirm this error. This is definitively a showstopper for 2.24
This appears to have been fixed with revision 1981 in svn. >=0.99.8 should work.
Yes, I confirm it's working. Thanks.
