Description Jonh Wendell 2008-08-13 13:06:41 UTC
After migrating to 2.24 (Ubuntu Intrepid), I can't browse smb shares anymore. SSH is fine.

I see that the mount point has been created in ~/.gvfs but I can't access it from nautilus (places).

first error

Error when I click on a bookmarked smb share. Even showing this message, the mount point can be seen in ~/.gvfs

second error

After first error dialog, the mount appears at 'places', but when I click to access it, I see this (another) error dialog.

Certainly a GVFS problem.
Comment 4 Baptiste Mille-Mathias 2008-08-26 19:11:23 UTC
ah yeah I confirm this error.

This is definitively a showstopper for 2.24
Comment 5 Peter Sääf 2008-09-22 17:57:13 UTC
This appears to have been fixed with revision 1981 in svn. >=0.99.8 should work.
Comment 6 Jonh Wendell 2008-09-22 18:00:33 UTC
Yes, I confirm it's working. Thanks.
