Description parth.technofreak 2008-08-13 04:27:08 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When the property of a song in the top of the playlist (first song) causing the song to move to the end of the list, then the back button which was inactive when the song was in the top remains same in the end of the list as well and hence we can not move up in the list without closing the property window and reopening for the last song again. The same happens when the song in the end of the list moves to the beginning of the list, while the forward button is still inactive as though the song is still the last item in the list.

Steps to reproduce:
 1. Open the playlist and order it with respect to the album title alphabetically.
2. Select the first song in the list (the top most) and add 'z' before the first letter (mine was adding 'z' in front of 'adada').
3. This doesn't move the file immediately to the last position. Now press the 'forward' button as if moving to the next song property. This moves the song to the end of the list, but the back button is inactive and forward button is active for the same song as though it is still in the first position.
4. Close the property window and open the property for the same song file again through right click menu > property.
5. Now remove the 'z' added in step 2, but this doesn't immediately move the song to the top of the list as it was originally.
6. Press the back button, which causes the song file to move to top of the list. But the property window still shows an active back button and inactive forward button as though last item on the list.

Actual results:
We can not move through the list with the same property window being open. We need to close the property window and reopen if again to navigate up or down the list. Though the song is moved back and forth correctly when it is edited, it's current position doesn't get reflected in the back and forward buttons

Expected results:
When the song is moved to the end of the list, the back button should be enabled and forward button should get disabled. Similarly, when the song is moved to the beginning of the list, the back button should be disabled and forward button should be enabled.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.
