Steps to reproduce: Originally reported in Launchpad link https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnumeric/+bug/220268 Steps to reproduce: 1) open the attached worksheet in gnumeric (attachment in Launchpad link) 2) select all of column A 3) choose format cells... -> Date -> mmmmm or mmmmm-yy Stack trace:
+ Trace 204885
Other information: Please find attached the sheet on LP link https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnumeric/+bug/220268 Also this doesn't seem to get reproduced with a new worksheet. may be we are missing something which is causing this crash.
I'm unable to reproduce that. It might have been fixed. Just when choosing the "mmmmm" format, I get only the initial character instead og the whole month name.
This was fixed a while back in both trees. It relates to formatting of invalid dates. This problem has been fixed in our software repository. The fix will go into the next software release. Thank you for your bug report.
