Thanks for the report! This might well explain some intermittent problems with GOK window geometry. Adding Gerd to cc list. Note: I can't look at this soon.

I've just tested version 1.4.0 (using core-pointer mode) on openSUSE 11 and everything seems to work fine. I didn't notice any difference between X and XGL with either compiz or metacity.

gok (GNOME on-screen keyboard) development has been stalled and it has been replaced by caribou [1]. Maintainers don't have future development plan so i am closing all the bugs as WONTFIX.
