Description Filippo Argiolas 2008-07-28 11:26:34 UTC
As you might know recently Xiph changed default extension for video files to .ogv and default mimetype to video/ogg (http://wiki.xiph.org/index.php/MIME_Types_and_File_Extensions).
Totem already handle this extension with no problem but doesn't register a thumbnailer for the video/ogg mimetype.
Libgnomeui should be able to fallback to parent class (application/ogg) if a thumbnailer for the specific mimetype is not found, but at the moment it only handles mimetypes with a registered thumbnailer.
I'm going to file a libgnomeui bug too but meanwhile couldn't this be easily fixed just adding video/ogg to mime-type-list.txt?

	* data/mime-type-list.txt: Handle video/ogg for thumbnails,
	because libgnomeui sucks (Closes: #545130)
