committed Details | Review

Description Paul Bolle 2008-07-23 00:17:24 UTC
Documentation
Section: Quick Reference
The Quick Reference is inconsistent in naming of some components (internally inconsistent, but also inconsistent with the GUI):

Calendar
Memo
Task

Correct version:
Calendars
Memos
Tasks

Other information:
For what it's worth, I'll attach a patch to the C locale tex sources of the Quick Reference. Note that the changes should be localized and that all Quick References need to be rerendered (see Bug #307856 for a nice howto). So, no ChangeLog entry yet.

Matt, Any thoughts ?
Comment 3 Matthew Barnes 2008-07-28 00:11:21 UTC
Works for me. As long as you're fixing up the Quick Reference, care to take a shot at bug #420920? (I have no idea what Radhika is trying to say there.)
Comment 4 Matthew Barnes 2008-07-28 00:12:06 UTC
Oh, and please announce the string change to gnome-i18n and gnome-doc-list.

As is rerendering the QR myself? And no, I'm also not sure what Radhika is saying there.

Pointers to instructions, etc. about those mails?

Just a short message describing what changed, for the benefit of translator and documentors.

Yeah, in case you happen know what I did wrong on my first try. If not, don't worry about it.

Same result here (partly transparent image in .pdf). Could it simply be that the .eps image uses transparency, but current .eps viewers ignore that (I've used both evince and display), but do not ignore transparency in "embedded" images in a .pdf?

(To be exact: evince does show a partly transparent "embedded" image but display renders it opaque.)
