Description Justin Clift 2008-07-22 05:42:23 UTC
Hi guys,

(Couldn't find a "problem with the mailing lists" category, so filing this under "SysAdmin".)

I joined the gnome-devtools mailing list on 18th July, specifically to send a message saying that patches have been developed to allow Devhelp to run with Firefox 3.

After sending the message, instead of it going through, I just got an email saying:

Your message to gnome-devtools awaits moderator approval

Ugh. With the reason:

  Post by non-member to a members-only list

However, that was *days* ago.

Have seen no progress on this whatsoever, so I'm unsure if things are broken, or if someone just needs to check and approve things on their side.

Regards and best wishes,

Justin Clift

You use a mailing list for patches? Just use bugzilla. I assume this has been solved by now..

Hi Olav,

Never heard anything further in regards to this, so no it wasn't actually resolved.

Regards,

Justin Clift

They admins of that mailing list just never attend the moderator queue.
