Evolution Mail and Calendar: sync with Google calenda...
Last modified: 2009-11-20 05:01:23 UTC
sync with Google calendar in Evolution calender works partly. I have 2 evolution calendars that does not show all the events on my Google calenar. The problems seems to lie with Google Calenar. It does not show all events in my Evolution Calendar. Suddenly it skipped 5 to 6 items from the Google calender. We will see later if it will fix itself. Otherwise Evolution is a fantastic product on my Dell Ubuntu 8.04 machine. Paul Distribution: Ubuntu 8.04 (hardy) Gnome Release: 2.22.2 2008-06-03 (Ubuntu) BugBuddy Version: 2.22.0
evolution doesn't support recurrence events in google calendar, see bug 508496

Google calendar back end has been replaced by CalDAV interface in 2.28.x see bug 583374. It would be better to try out google calendar with caldav in evolution 2.28.0 and let us know your feed back, thanks.
Thanks for taking the time to report this bug; however, closing due to lack of response of the reporter, sorry. if you still see this issue with a current release of evolution (2.28.x or later), please reopen. thanks in advance.
