After clicking a html link in the middle of a longer e-mail, the text of the e-mail scrolls up unexpectedlly till the first line. If necessary, I can send a test message (e.g. Golem.de newsletter). Distribution: openSUSE 11.0 (i586) Gnome Release: 2.22.1 2008-06-07 (SUSE) BugBuddy Version: 2.22.0

Akhil: This is a duplicate.
could be bug 493783 but i just wanted to try mbox file where user faced the problem.
Created attachment 113916 [details] newsletter from http://www.golem.de/ just drug & drop the file into any Evolution window then scroll down to some length and click any of the html links. as i do this, my browser opens but the text in the Evolution message preview window scrolls up by itself. try it. the attached file is just an example. i've just reinstalled everything (Hardy 32 bit), all updates applied. the problem remains.
+1 on ubuntu hardy -- using evolution 2.22.3.1-0ubuntu1 & associated packages. anything i can do to help diagnose? it's minor but becoming increasingly irritating. thanks!
any movement on this? still seeing it with 2.26.1 on ubuntu jaunty (2.26.1-0ubuntu1).

Problem does not happen here in 3.2.2, plain text email stays where it is. Closing as OBSOLETE, but please reopen if this is still a problem for you in Evolution 3.2 and mention your distribution.
