Description Matias Vidal 2008-06-18 18:38:26 UTC
Please describe the problem:
While using S/MIME certificates the Contact Certificate tab does not shows any certificate after a successful import (automatic or manual). As I can verify signatures and encrypt messages I asume that the certificates are working jus not displayed.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Get a contact certificate file
2. import the certificate to Evolution
Note that the tab shows no certificate
3. send an encrypted mail to the contact

Actual results:
The mail is correctly encrypted with the certificate but it is not showed in the GUI

Expected results:
That I could manage my contacts certificates

Does this happen every time?
yes

Other information:
This under Ubuntu 8.04

Reporter is running Evolution 2.22.2. I can reproduce it with Evo trunk (up-to-date as of 2008-07-10), so I am setting it as confirmed.
Comment 2 C de-Avillez 2008-07-11 21:18:50 UTC
Steps to reproduce:
Edit/Preferences/Certificates/Contact Certificates/Import

Then select some public cert you have hanging around, and import the beast.

No errors given, nowhere to be seen...

for evolution;

It showed there only those to whom you trust (or probably to their Certificate Authority). After this one will see all other certificates in a contact tab, and can manage to whom trust and to whom not.
