Description Julian Andres Klode 2008-06-12 16:30:36 UTC
Please describe the problem:
The following bug has been reported in Debian at http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=472381

Package: nautilus
Version: 2.22.0-3
Severity: normal

Whenever I delete a file from my local filesystem with nautilus, it
causes my external harddisk to spin up (which is a different
filesystem). My guess is that it re-checks the trash, and by looking for
a Trash folder on the external drive causes the spinup.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Delete a file on a filesystem on device A (while another device B exists)
2.
3.

Expected results:

Does this happen every time?
