Description Andreas Bernauer 2008-06-12 09:32:59 UTC
Incorrect translation
Application: gnome-games

Incorrect text:
/usr/share/gnome/help/blackjack/el/blackjack.xml
line 402:
Προτιμήσεις&Βοήθεια;
(no such entity '&Βοήθεια;')

Should be:
This is not really an erroneous translation, but seems to be a syntax error in the XML (no such entity '&Βοήθεια;')
The XML reads
Προτιμήσεις&Βοήθεια;
maybe it should be just
Βοήθεια
or
Προτιμήσεις   Βοήθεια
?
The error was reported to me by scrollkeeper, which runs monthly on my system:
/etc/cron.monthly/scrollkeeper:
///usr/share/gnome/help/blackjack/el/blackjack.xml:402: parser error : Entity 'Βοήθεια' not defined
                  <para><guimenuitem>Προτιμήσεις&Βοήθεια;</gui

This has been fixed in trunk and branch gnome-2-22.
Could you please add on which distribution you found this issue?

Thanks for reporting!

Sorry, I did not know Ubuntu has its own version of gnome-games-data with their own bugtracker. Next time I'll try there first.

According to the Ubuntu bug tracker
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-games/+bug/216789
the bug is already fixed (hey, great!) and available with the next update.

Thanks for the quick response.
