Description Daniel Gryniewicz 2008-06-04 12:29:28 UTC
In 2.23.3.1, the delete shortcut key (ctrl-D) doesn't work anymore. What it actually does is either nothing or try to save all attachments, depending on whether the message currently selected has any attachments.

Reverting 35570 causes this to work the way it did before.
Comment 1 Srinivasa Ragavan 2008-06-09 05:03:46 UTC
I'll fix it.
Comment 2 Srinivasa Ragavan 2008-06-11 05:38:46 UTC
Hmm, I just tried it in trunk, it seems to work for me. I did no magic. Any others see it?
Comment 3 Daniel Gryniewicz 2008-06-16 17:50:44 UTC
I just tried with 2.23.4, and it still happens. I still have to revert 35570 to get back my delete key.

The symptom is that <ctrl-d> behaves exactly the same as <ctrl-s>; ie, it opens the save dialog with the subject filled in as the filename.
Comment 4 Srinivasa Ragavan 2008-11-19 07:17:13 UTC
Is this still a problem with Evolution 2.24? I haven't heard of this from anyone else.
Comment 5 Daniel Gryniewicz 2008-11-19 17:05:10 UTC
It's a problem on both evolution 2.22.3.1 and evolution 2.24.1.1. I patch our 2.24.1.1, but not our 2.22.3.1 (yet).

Note that my 2.22 box is a mostly different environment from my 2.24.1.1 box; Aside from being 2.22 vs. 2.24, it's running a subset of gnome and awesome as a window manager (rather than the full gnome my 2.24 box is running).

Marking this to Matt, for testing on kill-bonobo. Sounds like an easy fix.
Comment 7 Matthew Barnes 2009-09-07 11:32:04 UTC
Works fine already on 2.29, so closing.
