Description Enver ALTIN 2008-05-30 12:50:53 UTC
I have created multiple calendars in Google Calendar using its web interface, but I can create events only in the default calendar using Evolution.

It would be beautiful to be able to select a calendar when creating a new calendar in Evolution.

I have the same problem. Evolution only adds the default calendar, omitting other public or private calendars that have been subscribed.

proposed eds patch

for evolution-data-server;

As discussed with chen, moving public include files to eds/google/libgdata, eds/google/libgdata-google and fixing the .pc files to be able use these includes in Evolution. Also improving reading of custom values from the XML of the GDataEntry.

proposed evo patch

for evolution;

And the UI changes, of course. The pity thing is that even I probably can get old password when retrieving calendars list, then I rather ask every time. It's easier and safer, somehow. I noticed a strange behaviour, when changing to other calendar, then the content of this is refreshed next start, not immediately. I do not think it's question for this patch to fix it, but if there is any possibility to let it work as expected, then I'm definitely for it.

because these patches (the evo's actually) requires feature introduced in patch for bug #468671, then I'm setting this as depending on the other.

Patch works fine!! Please announce the string changes and UI changes to the doc team and commit the patch. I consider this as a bug fix rather than a feature add. So we still have time until Aug 18 for UI freeze.
