All IRC chats, whether joined through Favorites or via Room -> Join New... have the title "Conversation".

Steps to reproduce:
1. Set up an IRC account
2. From Contact List window menu select Room -> Join New... and join e.g. #asdf

Just saw https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16345 and got to wondering whether this is an Empathy issue or a framework issue.
Comment 3 Guillaume Desmottes 2008-11-23 21:36:24 UTC
I agree, Empathy should give a better name to the window.
Comment 4 Xavier Claessens 2008-11-24 09:50:37 UTC
This is already fixed I think. Could you try with latest version from SVN and reopen if it still break?
