GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 534514
export to text is losing data
Last modified: 2008-06-18 00:09:10 UTC
Please describe the problem: i got a particular excel sheet, converted to gnumeric, converted to text, and one cell is lost. The printing is fine. I don't have a way to reproduce it from scratch, but i can provide you the problematic gnumeric sheet. I fail to see anything weird with the cell that disappears Steps to reproduce: 1- get the problematic sheet 2- using ssconvert or the gnumeric menu, save as text, default options Actual results: the text result lacks one cell Expected results: the text show contain all cells Does this happen every time? yes Other information:
Can you attach the sheet to this report (or is it confidential?)
Created attachment 111428 [details] test case for the bug it's not confidential, i didn't see the attachment option before. There it goes. The cell that gets lost in the export is C1 (it has the value 21:10)
Confirmed. Very strange. C2 (with the same text on screen) is exported. > I didn't see the attachment option before. It wasn't there. For reasons unknown, bugzilla only allows you to attach a file after you file.
