Description A 2008-05-21 18:10:21 UTC
when I run the latest version of gnumeric, it steals all the file associations for excel files. it does this every time gnumeric is run. gnumeric should associate with it's own files and should not associate with xls or other files unless I ask it to.

Other information:
gnumeric didn't do this before, this behaviour is new to the latest windows build 1.9.1

We ought to ask.
Comment 2 Jody Goldberg 2008-05-21 22:57:41 UTC
1) It's the installer not the application that sets the file associations.
2) We do ask which types to associate
3) The default should _not_ be to associate everything we support.

Patched in svn. The latest snapshot (1.9.1-20080616) has the fix.
