Description Christopher Roy Bratusek 2008-05-19 11:41:18 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When I'm adding new files, the folders don't refresh (same for the Desktop Shell). If I'm removing files the problem does not appear. That started yesterday after updating glib, pango, libgnome{ui}, libbonobo{ui}, gnome-desktop, eds, evolution, gconf, libeel and nautilus to the latest svn (and rebuilding gtk+-2.12.9), previously I used svn versions from 11 May. So I checked for major changes since then. The only one I found is the removal of libbackground. As far as I see it has been replaced by internal functions. Perhaps something is wrong/missing with/in the replacement? I got no clue.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a new file
2. Watch for refreshing
3. ... doesn't

Actual results:
doesn't refresh

Expected results:
should refresh and display the newly created file

Does this happen every time?
yes

Other information:
nope.
