Description fbugs 2008-05-15 09:46:56 UTC
Please describe the problem:
The upload to flickr results in an error message, after quite a long time of trying (without success):

"Error Uploading to Flick.com: FlickrNet.FlickrApiException: POST size too large!" followed by some more output. I tried to upload several pictures and also only one single picture (usual size, ~3MB), with the same result.

Upload using the flickr upload on the flickr site works, and the staff member in the flickr forum says that it should be a f-spot problem.

I tried f-spot 0.4.2 and 0.4.3.1. This worked before with both versions.

Steps to reproduce:

Does this happen every time?

i tried right now without problems, both resized and full size image (~4m). can you try a resized image?

do you have network problems, perhaps?
Comment 2 fbugs 2008-05-15 10:48:01 UTC
I tried a resized image as well, no change. "Waiting for response" for many minutes, then the error message. Nearly no network traffic in that time. I am not aware of network problems, there happened no change to my (simple) network configuration, everything else works fine. Any idea what I could try?

can you attach here or send me one of those failing pictures?

just a small random picture failing here. But it is the same for all pictures I've tried, does not seem to depend on the picture.

no problems here :(
i really have no idea!

in fact this behaviour was caused by a not optimal network connection. Changing the mtu value of the network card from 1500 to 1420 solved the issue. Thanks for helping!
